All preparation work is completely finished after another long day for the guys. They won't be back until it's installation time. They also delivered all of the new cabinets, which is exciting! It means we are blocked-out of our garage for a few weeks! Two of the three bays contain all of the top and base cabinets in addition to the trim work.
Since there is no additional work for them to do right now, I won't have anything to post until Monday when the flooring work begins. The hardwood installation is expected to take two or three days. Then the cabinets begin going in Monday, May 6. The counterops are scheduled to be templated May 9 and they take two weeks to be cut.
These pictures show the view from standing in the kitchen door which leads into the garage. I am hoping that we don't have any spring hailstorms while our cars are parked out on the driveway! :)
